Fly Winch in San Vito lo Capo

Flying in the Fly Winch is certainly a unique experience.

In San Vito lo Capo, the only ones in Italy!

The Fly Winch involves take-off through a pulling action exerted by a winch placed on board our pick-up.
An expert driver and winch operator guide the pick-up against the wind, towing the rope to which the paragliding passenger who flies in tandem with the pilot is attached.

Once you reach high altitude, the pilot – in tandem with the passenger – releases the rope and off you go!

The pilot will fly in traditional mode over the sea, leaving the passenger to enjoy the wonder of flight in complete freedom and autonomy until landing which coincides in the same point from which they took off.

The experience lasts 30 minutes, also including the initial briefing activities.

It is not possible to take photos and videos with customers’ cell phones, video cameras and other devices: the video of the experience will be made, upon request, directly by the Tandem Paragliding staff and must be paid separately at a cost of €50.00 (the video in HD it is made with 2 GOPRO and with INSTA360)

No special clothing is required, but closed shoes and long trousers are recommended.

Our flight experience is also suitable for disabled passengers. In these cases it is necessary to agree with our staff on all aspects related to the passenger’s degree of disability and define the auxiliary support needed for take-off/landing.
